Our goals are to strengthen the voice of clinicians in national and state level discussions on climate and health and to advocate for climate resilience especially on behalf of vulnerable communities that are disproportionately impacted. By attending the conference, participants will be able to:
- Join the launch of the Florida Clinicians for Climate Action.
- Discuss the impacts of climate change on human health, especially the health of Floridians and the health of vulnerable populations.
- Earn 6 CME (continuing medical education) credits.

- Understanding Climate and Health in Florida - A Focus on Vulnerable Communities
- Climate Resilience Strategies and Interventions
- Climate Change and Children: a Human Rights Issue
- Health Co-Benefits of a Clean Energy Future
This symposium is being offered at no cost to participants. Non-physician clinicians, specifically nurses and other healthcare providers, as well as students are strongly encouraged to attend and participate alongside our physician participants.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the National Medical Association and the W. Montague Cobb NMA Health Institute. The National Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
