Event description
A clothes on tour of vulva anatomy, the patterns of arousal and asking for what you want.

About this Event

It is time to reclaim the sex education you never got at school!

I have been teaching my friends and partners about vulvae since 2016, when I first got my hands on a vulva cushion. I had no idea what was between my legs and now, 3 years on, I am still building on that knowledge.

We don't get taught about pleasure, arousal and consent in school so I'm sharing my experience together with what I have learnt through my training as a somatic sex educator. It is never too late to get that sex education.

Through discovering our voices, exploring our feelings, acknowledging the uncomfortable, establishing our boundaries and honouring both our bodies and our sexuality, we can embrace pleasure with agency and permission.

Plus, consent is sexy! As is being educated and knowing our bodies. Let’s reclaim the sex education we never had at school.

In this clothes on session we will:

  • Explore vulva and vaginal anatomy using anatomically correct vulva cushions
  • Discover the patterns of arousal
  • Learn ways of breathing to help relax, de-stress and enjoy pleasure differently
  • Feel how movement can reduce anxiety and tension, and feel arousal throughout the body
  • Establish new ways to ask for what you want and refine it to meet your needs
  • Introduce dialogue around boundaries and consent

What can you expect?

  • Sessions are limited to 12 people and are conversational, interactive and fun
  • We all keep our clothes on and there is no requirement to touch anyone else
  • We create a confidential, neutral space for you to ask questions and share experiences
  • Each person will have a hand-made anatomically correct vulva cushion to play with
  • There will be genital bingo with a prize for a full house (spoiler alert - it's chocolate)
  • An opportunity to get to know other adventurers in the members bar afterwards

Who is this for?

  • People who have a vulva
  • People who know someone with a vulva, e.g. partners or parents
  • Interested people!

Sensitivity

Acknowledging that this is, for some, a daunting and new experience, and I want to encourage people to engage as freely as they can, therefore I am offering different versions of this for different audiences. Check out the events listing on Eventbrite.

Testimonial from previous event

The sex education you wish you’d had sooner. This workshop should be mandatory for everyone who has a vulva, or wants to have sex with a person who has a vulva. Sue is one of those sensational people who puts everyone at ease and ensures all participants feel safe asking those questions they’ve been too scared to discuss with their best friends. You will leave this session with an intimate knowledge of the anatomy of the vulva, amazing clarity of consent, and a conviction of how to ask for what you want without settling for anything less. But most importantly you will have fun and share laughter and tears and frustrations and fears with your fellow participants. Life’s too short not to know this stuff so learn it as soon as you can.
