Event description
Clinicians can begin to integrate neuroscientific findings about the higher brain (discovered in meditation research) into practical use.

About this event

Crisis - whether from loss, illness, betrayal, pandemics, trauma and/or heightened sensitivity to change - calls on clinicians to help clients discover additional resources to cope and go forward. Safe, effect, time-tested methods to introduce clients experientially to their innate higher consciousness can become a new resource of self-knowledge and self-care.

3 CEs are available for NYS LMHCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LCATs , NYS Licensed Psychologists and NYS Licensed Psychoanalysts upon completion of training.

Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to integrate the neuroscience findings on higher consciousness into their view of client potentials.

2. Participants will be able to communicate these findings to their clients in clear, practical terms.

In accordance with the NY State Department of Education guidelines, in order to receive continuing education contact hours, a participant needs to be present for the duration of the workshop/training. Therefore, participants who arrive late or leave the event early will not be granted a certificate of completion.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be provided for cancellations made in writing up to three business days prior to the start of the event.

Accommodations and Accessibility: HVPD welcomes participants with diverse abilities. Please contact us at info@hudsonvalleyprofessionaldevelopment.com to request accessibility accommodations.
