You are invited to attend a free educational symposium in New York City spotlighting the important topic of hospital-associated venous thromboembolism (VTE) in recognition of World Thrombosis Day 2017. Co-hosted by the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and Northwell Health, learn the latest developments from an esteemed line-up of global thrombosis experts, plus an interactive panel discussion featuring a thrombosis survivor and patient ambassador who will share her personal thrombosis experience.

Registration opens at 2:00 pm ET and the program begins at 2:30 pm ET.

Presentation topics will include the risk and burden of thrombosis, individual VTE risk assessment in hospitalized medical patients, the latest research updates, implications of venous thromboprophylaxis for medically ill patients, and more. CME credit will be available.
