Program Overview:

From now through 2030, more than 10,000 Americans will retire each day, turning to their advisors for help navigating the journey. Retirement planning was already a complex process that was made more complicated by the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. If advisors want to increase the probability of creating successful retirement plans for their clients, they need strategies that account for the most significant changes to the U.S. tax code in 30 years.

Led by an extremely knowledgeable moderator, the expert panel will use a case study format to provide valuable insight into the planning opportunities that emerge from the impact of the new tax legislation on retirement planning.

Attendees will leave this program knowing how to:

  • Increase after-tax cash flow during retirement

  • Manage the tax burden of qualified assets during retirement

  • Identify the proper role of guaranteed income in retirement planning

  • Take advantage of long-term capital gains versus ordinary income
