VRM/CuCo Day

About this Event

This will be a very different VRM Day.

Our approach this time is to show off one new idea that ProjectVRM's nonprofit spin-off, Customer Commons (abbreviated CuCo) has been working on. It's new, and we think it is very big.

So the plan is to share that work, show a prototype, and explore ways that work can support, be supported by, and overlap, with other VRM efforts.

And, as usual, we will use this day to plan for the next three days at IIW, which many of us will also attend.

For more context, check out The Intention Economy—Doc Searls' 2012 book on VRM work and its intended outcome. Because the purpose of this current effort by CuCo is to make that book's subtitle—When Customers Take Charge—actually happen.

The visual above comes from early work at ProjectVRM, and better matches what CuCo is up to than any other visual we can come up with right now. Substitutions or improvements are welcome. Send them to Doc (doc at searls dot com).

For some hints about the CuCo work we'll be showing and discussing, read Thinking outside the browser, and Toward e-commerce 2.0.

We look forward to seeing you on April 19!
