VR Paint Party Fundraiser at Jump Into The Light
Tue, April 25, 2017, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
Support Creativity and Jump Into The Light invite you to an inspiring evening of art, fun, and cutting-edge virtual reality at America’s first VR Cinema and PlayLab, Jump Into The Light.
As we get together and fundraise for Support Creativity’s scholarships, you will have the opportunity to dive into many virtual reality experiences and collectively create one giant VR painting.
Experience 1 - Enter the Void: We will show a variety of curated 360 films where you will take a trip around the world, move inside a Salvador Dali painting, revisit the Support Creativity (UNTITLED) Art Show, and view other short films—giving a great overview of what is going on in VR cinema today.
Experience 2 - The Wizard Experience: This will allow you to create and move things in VR using your bare hands like a creative god! Think Minority Report with Tom Cruise.
Experience 3 - Full Immersion Paint Party: You will walk around in a virtual world as you paint or sculpt in the air, creating a communal VR painting.

Special Performance from:
Brad Daniel Geyer aka Me, a master of none from New York Metro with an MA in Writing from University College Dublin, and a keen grasp of the obvious. I don't like answering doors or phones and i eat pho 3-4 times a week. I write poems, songs, novels, memoirs and sometimes even tweets. I film artists and put the footage together in a way that i think is interesting. I've been a Stand-Up Comic, a radio DJ, a TV producer, a warehouse worker, to name a few. I've performed martial arts at festivals, have break-danced for Network Television, and have been paid for my work as a rapper, poet, actor, videographer, photographer, musician, and most regularly as a bartender in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I believe that feeling is believing, and in sharing the things that i feel, i aim to help others believe. Does that mean something?
