Event Details

VR+ Ed:

When: June 10, 2019

Extended reality (XR) technologies, including virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) have the power to change the way we learn. In education, XR resources built for students are making positive impacts across grade levels and students with XR tools are already creating their own immersive content.

This conference will provide student VR creators with an opportunity to present their original work to a dynamic audience of students, educators, and XR industry professionals. Education tech leaders and XR industry professionals are encouraged to attend to learn best practices for incorporating VR in the classroom and discuss the future of VR in education.

Our goal is to help students embrace new technologies and empower them to become the innovators of the future. Join us to make this future a reality.

When: June 11, 2019

The Design and Maker Class Colloquium (DMCC) is a professional development event created for all maker-minded educators. The goal of the DMCC is to empower teachers, administrators, and informal educators of all disciplines and levels of experience in order to promote more student-centered learning and making. At the event, you'll spend the morning learning about curriculum-related ideas from fellow maker-minded educators and the afternoon getting hands-on experience with specific skills.

Additional details can be found on the  VR+Ed and DMCC 2019 websites.
