Techtonica is celebrating five years of working on helping women and non-binary adults overcome barriers into the tech industry.

About this event

Techtonica is a nonprofit that partners with companies to offer tech training and job placement to Bay Area women and non-binary adults with low incomes. 

Can you help Techtonica's apprentices practice technical interviewing? We're seeking volunteers to help at the following times. Please note that we're asking just for one hour of your time.

  • Tuesday, 10/19, 1 -2 | 2-3 | 3-4 PM
  • Thursday, 10/28, 1 -2 | 2-3 | 3-4 PM
  • Monday, 11/15, 2-3 | 3-4 PM
  • Tuesday, 11/16, 10 AM-11 | 11-12 M|
  • Tuesday, 11/16, 2 - 3 | 3-4 PM

For the technical interviews, bring some full-stack JavaScript web development questions (but please stay away from data structures and algorithms). You can also:

  • Have interviewees work through a code challenge
  • Bring some JavaScript code for them to look at and ask them questions about it
  • Look at their GitHub account with them and ask questions about their code

Please bring a laptop and be ready to abide by Techtonica's code of conduct.
