Event description

Description

Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for intellectually challenged children and adults, providing year-round training and competitions to more than 5.3 million athletes and Unified Sports partners in nearly 170 countries. We are honored to be asked to play a role in their success.

Through the power of sports, those among us whom are intellectually challenged, discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment -- on the playing field and in life. They inspire people in both their communities and nationwide to open their hearts to a wider world of human potential.

Research shows that most underestimate their abilities. Yet, their capabilities far exceed other's expectations.

Special Olympics knows no boundaries. Without regard to gender, race, religion, economic or education level, Special Olympics unite all walks of life.

We must believe in a world where there are different levels of abilities and not dis-abilities.
