Volunteers - Creating An Official Onboarding Process and Tracking Impact

Through the review of the Great Volunteer Management System (GVMS) text, and participation in training, participants will understand the importance of thoughtfully constructing an onboarding process to inform, engage, and inspire their volunteers. Participants will understand considerations for screening volunteers and which levels of screening are appropriate for specific volunteer commitment levels and roles. Participants will also have a framework of how to train their volunteers for skilled roles.

Through this training, the student should also develop a working knowledge of tracking systems for volunteer programs, and should be able to identify the key benefits to efficient volunteer tracking.
