Volunteers and the new data protection regulations

The new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) will require organisations to review their approaches to how they manage data protection and the arrangements that are in place for sharing data.

Key to this are the lawful basis for processing personal data and that consent is given - you have to have an opt-in rather than an opt out system.
