Acterra Stewardship and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District are partnering to restore and enhance valuable habitat at Russian Ridge on Skyline Blvd. Russian Rige is known for its spectacular 360 degree views and is a great place to spot coyotes and raptors. The trek up to Skyline is totally worth it.
Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children under 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor. What: Volunteers will help protect native plants be removing invasive species.
Where: Meet at the Russian Ridge parking lot which is at the Skyline Blvd and Pagemill intersection.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
