Volunteer with Violeta from The Morning MIX on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 6PM until 9PM at Lincoln Park Community Services at 1521 N. Sedgwick St. in the city.

Volunteers will plan, prepare, and serve meals. The Meal Provision opportunity gives volunteers the chance to cook and prepare meals for LPCS Guests in their kitchen for a community-building experience. Volunteers will also sort, organize and inventory of in-kind donations. From clothing to toiletries, the organization project helps to make a difference in ensuring LPCS Guests get the resources they need.

Lincoln Park Community Services (LPCS) brings communities together to empower individuals facing homelessness and poverty to secure stable housing and make sustainable life changes. They serve individuals 18 and older who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless by addressing immediate needs such as food, showers, clothing, identification, etc. in addition to long term support such as interim housing, employment, case management services and access to resources.

Volunteers must be 18+. Space is limited. It is suggested that you wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing while on site.
