Volunteer @ Winter Jam 2017 - OKC
Sat, April 1, 2017, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM CDT
We are needing volunteers to work at Winter Jam on April 1st in OKC!
Thank you for your willingness to serve with Spotlight! You have a chance to assist the tour staff, enjoy a fun night of music, spend time with your friends, and make some new ones! Please join us in making the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular a success. The night features: Crowder, Britt Nicole, Tenth Avenue North, Sadie Robertson, Andy Mineo, Colton Dixon, Thousand Foot Krutch, Newsong, OBB, Sarah Reeves, Steven Malcolm, and speaker Tony Noland.
Are you: Age 17 or older? Mature? Honest? Dependable? Dedicated? Hard-working? Available to work the entire evening? We would love to have you on our team so we can make this night possible!
Before you ask, being a volunteer is NOT: A backstage pass, a free meal, a meet & greet with the artists, or a babysitting service for your children.
For more information on this event please visit: TOURSITE
-- This is a registration for volunteers, not a free ticket to the event. --
-- While there are a few backstage positions for this event, backstage volunteers must have worked with us before and must be approved. If you meet these qualifications, please APPLY HERE. These are limited so please sign up for one of the regular positions in the meantime. --
-- If positions are filled, don't worry! Join the waiting list and we'll keep you posted! --
Wear comfy shoes!
No fangirling please. Or fanguying...
Bring bottled water!
Limit the stuff you bring. You don't want to keep up with it all night.
We are the first people there and the last to leave!
And most importantly...have fun!!
Just so you know... Due to possible no-shows or schedule changes, everyone will receive an assignment upon arrival. Please remain flexible!
I signed up, now I can't go.
Please say it isn't so! We are counting on everyone to be there and no shows / cancellations reflect badly on everyone involved. Make sure you are 100% sure you will be available that day before you sign up! (This means on time and all night.) If there is an emergency and you definitely cannot be at the event, please inform us immediately! We will need to inform the event promoter. If someone would like to take your place, either you or we need to unregister you, and then that someone needs to register separately.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Please bring a photo ID and your Eventbrite ticket (printed or on a mobile device). You must be at least 18 or older to volunteer at this event per tour rules (unless otherwise stated in the ticket description).
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Transportation is OYO. There will be event parking available in the hotel parking garage next door, under the Cox Center across the street, and several nearby paid parking lots. Free parking is available in the rear lot of Bass Pro and a shuttle is available (schedule here) however, the shuttle will not be available after volunteers are dismissed. We recommend the Cox Center or hotel garage as there is more security. PLEASE do not park at any metered or timed parking as you will not be able to leave the arena and return. More info here.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks and God bless!
