Description

Join the Friends of Tahoe Donner Trails and the Tahoe Donner Trails Department for the second Tahoe Donner Volunteer Trail Work Day of the season.

For this day's project, we are partnering with the Truckee Donner Land Trust to help complete a stretch of the Donner Lake Rim Trail, which runs through Tahoe Donner's southern edge.

Note

Please wear field clothes, such as long pants, sturdy shoes, long sleeve shirts (optional), gloves, and sunglasses. In your backpack, please bring at least 2 quarts of water, sunscreen, bug spray, and your lunch. The necessary tools, such as McLeods, Pulaskis, mattocks, clippers, shovels, and hardhats, will be provided.

Location

We will assemble near the Tahoe Donner Forestry Department building at 10500 Teton Way. See the "Park Here" location on this map.

Directions

From Northwoods Boulevard: Turn onto Christie Lane, turn left at Skislope Way. At the "Forestry" sign, turn right onto Teton Way. Continue on Teton Way past the "Private Road, No Trespassing" sign for about 3/4 of a mile until the road ends at the Tahoe Donner Forestry Department.
