Event description

Description

The Youth Expo is an annual event for high school students to meet 100+ non-profits recruiting youth volunteers. If you've been wondering where to do your 40 hours, then the Youth Expo is the perfect opportunity to explore endless volunteering possibilities!

How much does it cost to attend?

The Youth Expo is free!

Who can attend the Youth Expo?

Any high school students or those interested in volunteer opportunities for youth.

As Volunteer Toronto covers the City of Toronto, volunteer opportunities available will be based in Toronto, anywhere from Etobicoke to Scarborough and as far north as North York. If you live outside of Toronto, you can still attend but probably won't find roles in your local area.

Can parents or guardians come?
Yes!

Do I need to get a ticket in advance or can I just show up on the day?
While you can register upon arrival, we highly recommend you register for your free ticket in advance so that, on the day, you can simply check in and move on to enjoying the expo!

Do I need to bring I.D., a resume or anything else with me to the event?
Nope! Just bring lots of enthusiasm and be prepared to talk to the organizations about their roles. It helps if you have an idea of what types of non-profits or what roles you might enjoy most. Check out our webpage just for youth to get started!

Which organizations will be there?

Over 100 non-profits will attend. Check this page in late September for updates.
