Description

Project Helping Kindfulness for Kids Event

The Parks and Recreation Volunteer department is excited to teach children and their families about how we all can contribute to the care of our community, the clear before/after difference each individual can make, as well as the ability to recognize what goes into creating these lovely, free spaces for all people in Denver. The Parks and Rec department is also committed to teaching volunteers about the different plants, flowers, and animals they may encounter.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

Project Helping Logo

Project Helping volunteers will be working on a variety of activities that will help improve parks and recreation areas for the community at large. These activities could include mulching trees, weeding, debris removal, raking or even painting but will vary depending on need, location and weather. As space is limited, make sure to register before participating in this great event!
