Event description

Description

Mayor Bowser and Serve DC-The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism invites volunteers to phone bank next week for the DC Volunteer Snow Program.

Do you have the time to help out a neighbor and make calls with us?

The DC Volunteer Snow Program connects volunteers to senior citizens and those with disabilities for free snow removal services during the winter months. Volunteers will shovel a path from your primary entrance to the street and the sidewalk in front of your property. This service is targeted towards seniors and residents with disabilities that may not already have assistance during snowstorms.
