Would you like to know Indianapolis in a deeper way? Show it off to visitors? Help preserve and revitalize historic places? Indiana Landmarks might have a volunteer opportunity that would interest you. Drop in to our fast-paced recruiting session on Saturday, February 18, where you can have quick conversations with volunteers and staff about our wide range of volunteer opportunities and express your own interests.
Indiana Landmarks volunteers lead walking and motorcoach tours of Indianapolis and its historic places, usher and assist in special events our downtown campus, do research, and work in our office.
We’ll serve refreshments at the recruiting session, held from 10 a.m. to noon, where you’ll also learn about the training and benefits we provide to volunteers. The informational event takes place at Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis. The center occupies a restored nineteenth-century church repurposed as a cultural center with theaters and reception halls.
The event is free with your rsvp by February 17 at https://recruitingvolunteers2017.eventbrite.com. For questions contact Gwendolen Nystrom, Director, Indianapolis Volunteers and Heritage Experiences, at email@example.com or 317-822-7950.
