Volunteer in the High Country
Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
It may look pretty, but oxeye daisy is a noxious weed that has escaped gardens and is taking over mountain meadows and riparian areas. Spend the morning finding and pulling these flowers to help protect a riparian ecosystem. This is a great opportunity for families and young volunteers. We will work in a beautiful mountain meadow, enjoying great views and native wildflowers amongst the weeds.
This project is from 8:30am-12:30pm. Minimum age is 8 with adult supervision. For questions contact Erica at 303-678-6329 or email@example.com.
Please note that every volunteer under the age of 18 needs a waiver signed by a parent or guardian, and needs to be accompanied to the volunteer event by an adult. Please let us know ASAP if you need the waiver in advance.
