Description

We’ll be cutting and planting willow and dogwood live-stakes along the banks of the local creeks. The stakes will sprout and grow in the spring. Together, we will fight-off erosion and help protect the local riverbanks and the Minesing Wetlands!

Be ready to get wet, work hard and have fun!

Bring
Your lunch and water (extra water and snacks will be provided). Please dress for the weather and working near water, including rubber boots, warm layers, hat, scarf, and a complete change of dry clothes. You will get wet!

Loppers, mallets and chest-waders will be provided. Please bring your own waders if you have them.

Where to Meet
This plant is taking place near Creemore. Additional details including location and directions to the site will be provided after registration.
