See What A Difference A Night Makes - Join our all Volunteer Crew!

Organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk is coming to Washington D.C. on June 17, 2017. Thousands of participants will take to the streets of Washington DC to be a part of the incredible 16-18 mile journey to assist AFSP continue its mission to fund crucial research, offer educational programs, and provide programs and resources that will benefit those affected by mental disorders and suicide.

We would like to invite you to join the hundreds of passionate and hardworking volunteers coming together as a community to create this powerful experience. We need you to place signage, distribute snacks and beverages, drive the event vehicles, ride your motorcycle or bicycle along the route, provide medical or emotional support, or assist the event staff.

Participant registration just opened and we have several Crew positions available to assist our Walkers throughout the night. We want you to be with the thousands of dedicated participants taking steps to save lives.
