Event description

Description

Ride of Silence is an international movement to honor cyclists injured or killed on public roadways and raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to travel roads. The annual ride is a short, slow and silent processional that attracts hundreds of cyclists from all corners of our community.

Join cyclists worldwide in a silent, slow-paced processional (8 mph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.

We will gather from 5:30–6:30p at the steps of Columbus City Hall to prepare for the ride. A brief presentation will begin at approximately 6:30p. At 7p, the Ride of Silence will begin. Following the ride, we are rolling up High St to North High Brewing. 20% of all sales for the night will be donated to Yay Bikes!.

Volunteers are key to making this event possible. We need help getting signs on bikes, counting the number of riders, and getting everyone signed in.
