Spread some seasonal cheer with Columbus Gives Back and be a course monitor and greet runners and walkers for this fun holiday fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation! We will also be helping at the start and finish line handing out medals and cheering on the participants!
When: December 3rd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Genoa Park, 303 West Broad Street

Attire: Outdoor volunteers are asked to dress for the weather and will be given a
red vest to wear over their jackets to distinguish them as volunteers. Please dress warm!
About the Event: Volunteers will assist as course monitors and start line/finish line help for the runners/walkers! Helpful skills/traits: Outgoing, able to stand in the cold, energetic, cheerful
-Direct runners and make sure they are staying on course
-Control auto traffic
-Advise drivers trying to turn/pass through your area there is a race going on and they have to yield
to the runners
-Direct drivers through obvious openings in runners
-CHEER runners on! Have fun!
-Please note- Transportation will be available to drop you off at your assigned site and will be available to pick you up when the last runner passes through your area. It is important that you are dressed for the weather, as you will be responsible for being outside from the time you are stationed until the end of the
race (you will not be stationed until right before the race starts)
