It's time for another fun Berry Volunteer event! We're kicking off the new year at The Cookie Cart in Minneapolis!
Beginning in 1988, The Cookie Cart's Nonprofit Bakery offers North Minneapolis Teens a place to aqurie job exprience, a classroom to receive job readiness training, customer service training and finace literacy classes to help prepare them for life after High School!
Come join us on January 14th from 1pm-3pm and you’ll be working side-by-side with youth employees to scoop fresh dough, hand decorate cookies, and assemble bakery boxes. Assisting with cookie production gives you the opportunity to talk with teens, hear about their experience at Cookie Cart, and share your story on how you found your career path.
**Important- Please Read**
This event is limited to 20 spaces due to kitchen space, but we would also like to make sure all 20 volunteers spots are filled and attend that day. While we understand life happens and sometimes you just can't make it last minute, please be mindful when signing up that organizations like this are highly dependant on the help of volunteers and when we agree to come in with large groups like this, they plan their entire day around having that many people and may have to turn away other groups/individuals interested in volunteering to reserve our spots. It is important as a group to make sure we are fulfilling our commitments.
**Other Event Details**
This is an adults only volunteer event. Please keep an eye out for future family-friendly volunteer events.
