Volunteer: Crestwood Citizens Association
Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (AST)
This fall marks the seventh Community Tree Planting event in the Crestwood neighborhood. The community hopes to enhance its connection to Rock Creek Park, replace dead and dying trees and elevate the environmental quality of the neighborhood. Volunteers will work alongside Crestwood residents to plant 17 trees.
The Metrobus stop for Routes S1, S2, S4 is 16th & Upshur Streets NW. There is no direct Metrorail access. Street parking is available but may be limited.
Volunteers are welcomed in the morning with a light breakfast. A celebratory lunch is provided at the conclusion of the event. Casey Trees will supply drinking water throughout the event.
Are you a volunteer group manager? Do you want to register a large group of volunteers for one or more events (5 or more individuals)? Groups cannot sign up all of their registrants on this page, but we are happy to work with you to get volunteers registered at this event or other events this season. Register online now.
