Volunteer at the Food Bank!
Event Information
Description
Start your Halloween early with the Food Bank: It's Night of the Living Fed!
The Alameda County Community Food Bank serves 1 in 6 of our neighbors--from Boo-erkeley to Fear-mont, Ohh-akland to Shiver-more. In just 3 hours, you can help us sort and package food that adds up to thousands of meals.
Hunger is a big problem -- but we can help! Meet new people and learn more about the work we do--and then get down to business, sorting fresh produce and food-drive donations that will go directly to families in need.
Space is limited -- each ghost and goblin must register. Dinner is on us.
Every attendee gets one raffle ticket. We'll draw for fabulous prizes (from go-kart racing to wine tasting) at the end of the sort. Come in costume and TRIPLE your chance to win! No capes, masks or open-toed shoes on the warehouse floor, though.
See you there!
