Event description

Description

The Arc of Greater Houston's annual Candy Cane Ball is a dance for individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and their family members. The Candy Cane Ball provides at no charge dinner and dancing for nearly 1,000 individuals. For many individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities this event offers a unique chance to celebrate the holidays with friends and peers.

Sign up for one shift or both - 12:00-4:00pm (set up/decorating) 4:00-9:00pm (registration, during the event, clean up)

You will receive more details the week prior to the date. Thank you for volunteering for this very special dance for 1,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities.
