Hello Volunteer!

Thank you for your interest in A Child’s Dream Annual Outreach. We are excited that you want to volunteer for the Annual Back to School Give-Away on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 7:30 am- 3:00 pm.

VOLUNTEER MEETING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 10 AM! Learn more about ACD founder, staff, mission, sponsors, volunteer duties, and MORE!

NOTE: Children 16+ are welcome to volunteer. Children ages 16-17 need to be accompanied by an adult 21+ years old.

We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of two hours. 

We will need volunteers to help set up for the event, distribute backpacks, socks, pack and distribute personal hygiene products, monitor families waiting in line, and more.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED. See vaccination policy below.

VOLUNTEER HOURS: 7:30 am to 3 pm

ALL-DAY SHIFT

7:30am- 3:00PM- Set Up, Meeting, Volunteer & Clean Up

4-HOUR SHIFT

7:30am- 11:30 am -Set Up, Meeting, Volunteer 10:45am- 3:00pm - Volunteer & Clean Up

2-HOUR SHIFT

7:30am-9:30am - Set Up Only7:30am-10:30am (3 hour) - Set Up & Meeting*8:30am-10:30am - Set Up & Meeting*9:45am-12:00pm - Meeting* & Volunteer

10:45am-1:00pm - Volunteer11:45am-2:00pm - Volunteer12:45pm-3:00pm - Volunteer & Clean Up*MEETING= Group Meeting with the founder & learn more about ACD

Vaccination Policy

A Child's Dream is following every recommended precaution to ensure the safety of our staff and volunteers. Per our vaccination policy, staff and onsite volunteers are required to provide proof of receiving their COVID-19 vaccination. Every person on site will be subjected to a health screener before their shift. Everyone is required to wear a face mask for the duration of their shift. Hand sanitizer and disposable gloves will be available for volunteers to use at all times. The event is held outdoors and so volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather.

PARKING:     Park in the parking lot located on Culver Blvd. (Arrive EARLY to find parking)
