Event Details

The strength for response and recovery comes from the VOAD movement, “DOING MORE TOGETHER!” A senior national leader with decades of experience in disaster response once said “America cannot afford what National VOAD organizations do for free…70% of recovery efforts are taken care of by National VOAD organizations.” This year's summit brings together all South Central Region (Colorado) VOAD partners active in every aspect of Response and Recovery. Together with local government planners, emergency managers, military mission partners and volunteers, the Summit will focus on key crisis and disaster issues of today in order to enhance preparedness for the next event across our region.
