Secretary of the State Denise Merrill will explore the history of women's suffrage in Connecticut followed by a dynamic panel discussion.

About this Event

Join us as the CT Secretary of the State Denise Merrill provides an overview of the past, present, and future of voting rights and women's suffrage in Connecticut. The Secretary's remarks will be followed by a panel discussion of leaders in the fields of women’s history, social activism, and education at USJ, including historian Tracey Wilson, educator, historian, and activist Brittney Yancy, and current USJ undergraduate student Aya Cruz. The panel will be moderated by Molly Griffin, Assistant Director of Government Affairs at The Hartford.
