Event Details

The celebration continues as we carry the spirit of Philadelphia into the second weekend of July 2017. The Philadelphia Jazz Project in collaboration with Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Parks On Tap presents, Voices Of The People: Celebration of Singers; a three-day, vocal festival featuring over a dozen of Philly's finest performers, including Barbara Montgomery, Rhenda Fearrington, Michael Andrews, Lili Añel, Ella Gahnt, Raimundo Santos and more. Four concerts will take place between July 6th-8th in Fairmount Park at the historic Hatfield House, 33rd & Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.

Continuing the collective introspection, the celebration features themes that musically explore the concepts of Interdependence, Diversity, Love and Freedom with Music Directors Tom Lawton, Lynn Riley, Lee Smith and Mike Boone. Each event will feature other non-musical voices from our communities, working at the front-lines of issues that we care about. Refreshments will be provided by Parks On Tap and an assortment of Food Trucks.
