Children’s Alliance is excited to welcome Heather McGhee as the featured guest for this year’s Voices for Children event. A renowned expert on the American economy, Heather is the author of the best-selling book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together. Learn more about Heather.
Heather, along with Children’s Alliance Executive Director, Dr. Stephan Blanford, will discuss the devastating true cost of racism—not just for people of color, but for everyone. They will also explore ideas on how to dismantle racism and build a better shared future for our kids. The event will be emceed by Kris Crocker of KXLY Spokane.
The livestream event will be on Tuesday, June 7, from 12-1 pm. The event recording will be available on-demand to pre-registered ticketholders until July 6. The live event will be followed by an optional virtual mixer for attendees.
Ticketholders, regardless of ticket level, will receive full access to the livestream event and an on-demand event recording. Please choose the level that is right for you. Ticket payments are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law and Children's Alliance will issue donation receipts after the event.
