Voiceover 101 is an introductory course to the world of voice acting!
About this event
Voiceover 101 is an introductory course to the world of voiceover held over the course of 4 weeks. Students will learn to improve their vocal quality, vocal range and abilities in the audition room for commercial and character work! No prior experience is necessary.
The class will cover:
Breaking down copy
Finding your unique voice
Character work
Vocal hygiene
Audition and booking logistics
Class instructor: Alex Kumin
Alex Kumin is a voice actor, standup comedian and writer based out of New York City. She has done extensive VO work over the last several years, including spots for Kohler, Google, Edible Arrangements and more, as well as voicing a several year campaign for Indiana University Health. She is passionate about sharing all that she has learned over the years with beginning voice actors looking to dip their toes into the voiceover world!
This class will be held VIA ZOOM on the following dates:
Tuesday, May 24th 6:30-8:30 PM (CST US)/7:30-9:30 PM (EST US)
Tuesday, May 31st 6:30-8:30 PM (CST US)/7:30-9:30 PM (EST US)
Tuesday, June 7th 6:30-8:30 PM (CST US)/7:30-9:30 PM (EST US)
Tuesday, June 14th 6:30-8:30 PM (CST US)/7:30-9:30 PM (EST US)
REFUND Policy: Full refunds are available any time up to 5 days before the first class commences. Refunds after that time are at the course administrator's discretion.
ROLLOVER Policy: If you are not able to participate in class after registration and the refund window has expired you can potentially roll your registration over to the next course session provided space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion and a $40 administration fee. Please note there is NO facility to rollover classes once you have attended ANY classes.
