Who will be teaching?
Elaine Romanelli began studying music at age 4, continued through high school at Settlement Music School in Philadelphia, and earned a B.A. in vocal performance with honors from Stanford University. She won her first composition contest in grade school, and her most recent as a finalist in the 2015 CT Folk Festival songwriting competition. She works across genres, in classical music, musical theater, cabaret, pop, and folk, as a composer, songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist (piano and guitar).
Since college she has used her singing, theory, performing, and songwriting expertise to teach children and adults of every level, both in individual private lessons and in group settings.
Elaine's 2015 album THE HOUR BEFORE, co-produced by folk legend SI KAHN, debuted at #3 on the international Folk DJ chart and continues to play on independent and syndicated radio in 7 countries. She's toured to 23 states with her original music.
