Vocal Health: This is Your Voice on Anxiety

 

Are you plagued by stage fright, panic, or anxiety?

 

Do you find yourself shutting down or

freezing up just before a performance?

 

Join us for Vocal Health: This is Your Voice on Anxiety. A diverse panel of professionals will focus on the psychology of the performer, addressing attitudes and behaviors that can undermine or support exceptional performance. Considerations for maintaining a healthy mindset as a performer will be addressed from multiple perspectives.

Shirley Gherson, clinical voice specialist at the NYU Langone Medical Center and an adjunct professor in the Steinhardt School of Graduate Studies at NYU; Ilana Grunwald, PhD, clinical neurologist; Doonam Kim, MD, board certified psychiatrist and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU Langone Medical Center; Brittney Redler, performer and educator in New York City.
