FAQs
What should I bring to the event? We will provide workstations for your to use during the lab but please plan to bring a Laptop in order to have a second screen at the event. Don’t forget to bring any accessories you will need like a wireless mouse or keyboard.You will need to be able to access one of the following browsers during the lab - Supported browsers include Firefox 13+, Chrome 18+, Safari 6+, and IE 10+. Tablets are not recommended.
Are there any clients to install/plugins in order to use the application? No. HOL is a fully hosted on the online portal and uses HTML5. Only a supported browser is needed.
Is there anything I can do ahead of time to prepare for the Workshop? Yes! If you have not already, you can register for the Hands-on Labs environment that will be used at http://labs.hol.vmware.com.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Yes, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email rbrightbill@vmware.com with transfer requests.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you do not have to bring a printed ticket with you to the event. We will be able to scan your mobile ticket or look you up on our list.
