This is Vivian Lee's Second Mothers Day at MVJ. She presented an incredible show to a packed out house in 2018, and we anticipate the exact same reaction from our MVJ Patrons again this year. Vivian Lee is stunning; she will warm your heart, providing Jazz Music for your soul. Lee is a vocal artist, and delivers positive vibes and steller grooves from her band. A Mothers Day event not to be missed.
Grab some Reserved Seating to be close to Vivian in the Front of the House at The Auditorium at CLARA, and enjoy this Celebration of Family and Mom!
Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 6:30pm, so there should be plenty of time to finish your Mothers day Brunch in Sacramento, and finish off your Celebration of Mom at Midtown Vanguard Jazz Series at CLARA.

Jazz Musicians who play MVJ embrace the definition of Vanguard in their Art of Music.
Midtown Vanguard Jazz Series, is hosted by 501c3 Nonprofit Organization: Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy, on second and fourth Sundays of the month at The Auditorium.
Dedicated & leading the way in supporting New Acoustic Jazz Music in Sacramento, by providing a platform for Artists & Jazz Composers to present public performances of their music, and to increase community awareness of the importance of artistic expression for individual satisfaction and growth. MVJ is an Artist Series for the benefit of the Artists. Sac Prep Music Academy, through it’s Mission, provides lighting, sound system & our beautiful Seven Foot Baldwin Grand Piano, and sets the stage and events with community volunteers. The Auditorium at CLARA has proved to be a perfect space for MVJ Series to present music from Trios to Big Bands, and has excellent natural acoustics for audiences up to 180 patrons.
