VivaTech Tour in NYC: Girls Just Wanna Have Funds
Event Information
About this Event
For the third consecutive year Viva Technology, happening in Paris 11-13 June, will be focusing on women in tech. And once again the VivaTech Tour is hosting meetups to investigate a mystery: Where the hell is all the money for women-led startups? Studies show that although 2019 has been a banner year for tech companies around the world, with more than €30 billion invested in Europe-based companies alone, funding for mixed-gender and women-only teams has actually been decreasing over the past four years. Yet we also know that startups founded or co-founded by women outperform those founded by men. What’s going wrong? How can we fix it?
We're partnering up with BNP Paribas and Choose Paris Region for this event in New York!
