DJ YA △ MA is a free-style female DJ who has been DJing since 1994. She runs ‘network records’ which is known as a power spot of Osaka in Japanese dance music scene. She is a sound source buyer and the owner of the record shop who is trusted by many musician and DJs in Japan.

Her free-style play is based on her amazing sense in choosing danceable trucks which match perfectly with the energy of a dance floor and the super groove that she creates. DJ YA△ MA has been shaking the dance floors of many legendary dance parties in Japan.

In 1999, she organised the legendary party “eep” with EYE from BOREDOMS. She was then joined the party “FLOWER OF LIFE” that was organised by cutting-edged Osakan artists as a DJ. DJ YA△ MA has been impacted the Japanese dance party scene as a DJ and an organiser.

Her encounter with VITAMIN-Q in 1996 in TOKYO was the trigger for her work to be expanded. The dance floor of VITAIMN-Q Byron Bay vol.21 will be the collaboration beyond space time after 22 years ago in Tokyo to current Byron Bay.
