Join us for our popular 3 hour Non-Accredited Visual Impairment Awareness Training Session.
“Nearly two million people in the UK are blind or partially sighted. Visual awareness training can help increase your awareness of what it is like to like with and how to support those living with Sight Loss”.
Visual Awareness Training can help you understand how to best provide support to people who are blind or partially sighted.
Our standard 3 hours Non - Accredited Training session covers:

What visual impairment means
Low vision and its consequences
Dispelling the Myths about visual impairment
The most common eye conditions and their effects
Charles Bonnet Syndrome
The benefits of assistive technology
Visual impairment simulation
Good and bad practice
How to interact effectively with people with eye conditions
The benefits of good lighting and color contrast.
