Event description


Vista High School is having it's College Night on October 2nd, 2019 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

(Note: This is registration for colleges and institutions to participate. The College Night is open to any Vista Unified School District High School student and their family, however, it is not open to the general public.)

This is a great opportunity to get in front of motivated juniors and seniors and their parents. Sessions on financial aid, along with local college overview sessions will be held.

The EXPO portion will be held in the V-quad is open during the entire event and participation is free.

Who should participate:

4-year Public and Private Colleges, 2-year Community Colleges, Technical Institutes, Vocational Schools and training programs. All post-secondary education institutions are encouraged to participate.

Registration is required for all public and private colleges and/or any post-secondary education or training institute.

Early check-in time begins at 5:30 PM (actual event time is 6:30-8:30 PM)

Your reservation includes: 1-6 foot conference table and 2-chairs

You're encouraged to bring hand-outs, table displays, and signage to promote your institution. As well, please bring a separate supply for our College & Career Center and Counseling office.

Admissions representatives - please register online by September 30th.


Do I need a ticket for each member of my group?

You only need to register one person in the group. We will be contacting you to get the names of the those attending in your group prior to the event. You are reserving a table with your ticket.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be parking available to participants in our campus lots. Please indicate if you need more than one parking space. There will be room up front in the parking lot to unload materials or equipment.

What can I bring to the event?

You are encouraged to bring hand-outs, flyers and other materials. You should be bringing table covers or backdrops that identify your organization to the students at a glance. You can bring your own booth, however, please coordinate with us on larger setup beyond a single table. If you want to bring a larger setup such as a 10x10 tent or a van/coach, please contact us so we can make the proper preparations.

What happens if it rains that day?

The event is the V-quad and there is plenty of room under the building overhangs in case we get bad weather. If we do get rain the EXPO portion may be moved to the Gym. We will keep you posted, however, at this time of year we don't expect weather issues.
