Overview

An intimate gathering with Alexis Madrigal, host of KQED's "Forum" and author of The Pacific Circuit, that explores research and archives.

Join acclaimed journalist Alexis Madrigal as he speaks with Ingrid Rojas Contreras about his use of research and archives. Following the conversation, Alexis will give attendees an interactive zine assignment utilizing Prelinger Library's unique archives.

This event is free and will begin promptly at 2:30 pm. Plan to arrive by 2:20 to be buzzed up to the space (see directions below). Space is limited and we encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible. You are welcome to bring a plus one.

Prelinger Library is a 10 minute walk from the Civic Center Bart station. Street parking can be hard to find but is an option along with nearby parking garages.

To enter the building: use the intercom near the street entrance at 301 8th Street in San Francisco to find a button marked “Prelinger Library.” Press the button to be buzzed in, and take the elevator to the second floor.
