Traci Turner is an oil painter based in Reno, NV. She will be in Studio 331 for the month of August.

Kay Walsh is an abstract painter based in Great Falls, VA. Her residency will take place in Studio 322 through August and September.

Join us in the main hall of the Torpedo Factory Art Center while Turner and Walsh discuss their work. A meet-the-artists reception begins at 5:30 pm, with the presentations starting at 6:00 pm.

The Visiting Artist Program is a professional development opportunity for emerging and experienced visual artists. Visiting Artists take part in a summer residency program with the Torpedo Factory Artists, a juried membership organization with more than 250 active visual artists. Selected Visiting Artists are selected for studio space in one of the 82 publicly accessible working studios, where they can display and sell original work while interacting with summer visitors.
