Our new Visiting Artist program invites artist and graphic designer Leo Tecosky to campus. Tecosky will be conducting studio visits with ODU art students and present a public visual lecture at the Barry Art Museum.
Tecosky works at the intersection of cultural exchange and craft traditions blending glass making techniques with deconstructed graffiti iconography.

Born in New Mexico, raised in Miami his varied experience living and traveling has influenced Leo’s visual language. Tecosky holds a BA in Fine Art from Alfred University and an MFA from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. A father and a husband, Leo works as a glass blower in Brooklyn and teaches Glass at Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
This visiting artist program is a collaborative effort between The Barry Art Museum, ODU Art Department, Chrysler Museum Glass Studio & The Virginia Museum of Fine Art. Thank you.
