Event description

Description

Join us for a classroom to career experience to Tyner Pond Farm in Greenfield, IN.

We will learn about regenerative farm practices, soil health and pasture based farming. We will get up close and personal with the animals, and of course, talk about how we use technology!

After the experience at the farm, we will enjoy lunch at The Mug (on us) to see the entire farm to plate process.

Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and wear clothes/shoes that can get dirty. We will be driving from spot to spot on the farm (and to lunch) in your personal cars.

Sub fees will be reimbursed.

With the enactment of HEA 1002 in the 2019 legislative session, educators are now required to get 15 of their professional growth points (continuing education hours) through real-world experiences in order to renew their teaching license. Though it is up to your local administrators, these will likely count towards this requirement.
