We encourage you to reserve your tickets in advance at the link above, but tickets will be available for walk-ins if capacity limits have not been reached. You may use the same email address for minors or those without email addresses. Printed copies of your tickets are not needed. We invite you to arrive within the hour of your reservation, and stay as long as you like.

Entry to Kemper Museum is limited to the WEST side entrance. Check-in will take place inside these doors. All other entrances are exit only.

- Masks are required at all times for visitors and staff and must cover both the nose and mouth. If you do not have a mask we will provide one. Click HERE to review guidelines issued by the City of Kansas City, Missouri, which lists exceptions and FAQs about our mask requirement and city orders.

- All visitors and staff are expected to comply with health screenings upon entry. Employees will fill out a daily health questionnaire, performing self-temperature checks at least once a day, twice if possible.

- All visitors are also subject to health screenings upon entering the museum. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or greater will be denied entry.

- All visitors and staff are expected to maintain a distance of at least six feet from others to comply with social distancing guidelines.

- Use of hand sanitizer and regular hand washing is strongly encouraged. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building and all surfaces will be sanitized frequently.

- Restrooms have reduced capacity and drinking fountains are closed. Wheelchairs and gallery stools are available upon request. To minimize surface contact there are no interactive materials within the Museum.

- Kemper Museum is striving to make the visitor experience as contactless as possible. Plexiglass screens are being implemented to protect employees and guests. Museum protection staff will be available to open doors for guests when possible.

- The Museum Shop will be open with capacity limited to four customers at a time.

Café Sebastienne is open for carry-out, curbside pickup, and limited self-service dine-in capacity. You can order in advance by calling 816-561-7740 or in person at the Café host stand. If you are dining or picking up at the Café, a Museum ticket is required for entry into the building.

Café Sebastienne will transition from a full service fine-dining experience to a fast-casual restaurant. Guests will order from a menu board, receive a number, and servers will bring meals on trays.

- Plexiglass screens are being implemented to protect employees and guests.

- Masks must be worn except while eating or drinking.

- Tables will be at least 10 feet apart.
