Join this fun group trip of Christmas wonder where we explore Copenhagen visit no less than five magical Christmas markets, the trip includes activities and guided tours and a chance to enjoy the special Scandinavian Christmas atmosphere. There will be many amazing photo opportunities to capture the beauty of this city in winter.

The trip includes guided tour and entrance to the Glypotek, with amazing artefacts and statues form all over the world, entrance to Tivoli Gardens (with two markets), the worlds' second oldest amusement park and guided tour of the National Museum Of Denmark and a Christmas gift for everyone on the trip!
The trip costs £250 for two nights incl breakfast at a comfortable and central hostel (private single sex room for our group with six people sharing). The hostel is ideally situated in the Old Town by the water front where you find one of the most popular Christmas markets.

Scandinavia turns into a magical fairytale world during the festive season and in Copenhagen you find no less than five amazing Christmas markets to make the picture complete! The many atmospheric café's, shops and department stores are all decorated for Christmas and makes for a stunning sight!
Seeing this beautiful city lit up and decorated for Christmas is a treat for the eye and a dream for photo enthusiasts! The shop window displays are amazing and the department stores are beautifully turned out, all in the special Scandinavian way!
THE FIVE MARKETS
Tivoli Gardens fun fair and markets (entry incl)
Christmas at Tivoli Gardens is part of the Christmas tradition for many Danes, It is the second oldest fun fair in the world dating from the Victorian era and hosts the city’s number one Christmas market!
You will see the Christmas light show with Christmas music at the Tivoli Gardens and visit the two markets in this area. The stalls offer up an array of Christmas gifts, decorations, snacks, sweets and hot drinks and that magical Christmas feeling of old!
Hans Christian Andersen Christmas market
This is an extended part of the Tivoli Gardens, showing scenes from the fairy tales of H.C. Andersen, bringing the stories to life and adding some extra magic to the Christmas experience!!
Christmas market in Nyhavn harbour
Around the corner from the hostel you find the picturesque harbour "Nyhavn" with one of the cosiest Christmas markets in town, offereing entertainment, delicious Christmas foods and brews and Christmas gifts all along the water front.
Christmas market at Kongens Nytorv
(Kings New Square)
Another Christmas market in the very heart of Copenhagen with a fantastic view of the traditional Christmas lights and decorations of the prestigious Hotel D’Angleterre and the large Magasin department store.
Christmas Market at Højebro Plads
(High Bridge Place)
Højbro Plads Market, is near the main shopping street, is a more international market with products from many different countries. Here you find German pastries, Italian cheeses, delicious chocolates, coffee and sausages and the very tasty traditional Danish pancakes!
HIGH STREET SHOPPING
The main shopping Street of Cobenhagen is called Strøget and is said to be the longest shopping street in the world, decorated for Christmas, it's a real treat for the eye!
TOURS AND SIGHTSEEING
National Museum of Denmark visit to the museum with guided tour, (included). This place is a must see when in town, it was built by the Victorians and hosts many interesting displays and exebitions!
Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek
Glypoteket (entry included), is an art museum founded in 1888 with excellent collections of Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan and Roman art, providing a delightful stroll through 3500 years of art and history!
This is an fascinating place to visit with its majestic halls filled with statues and artefacts showcasing the grandeur of the past. Its indoor garden and cafe has some beautiful displays too, in fact this whole place will make a long lasting impression and offers some fantastic photo opportunities.
In the Winter Garden, you can take a breather and refresh yourself in the cafe' and enjoy a piece of cake, a light lunch or maybe just a coffee in the peaceful surroundings.
Christianborg Palace (not incl)
If time allows, a visit to Christianborg is to be recommend. This beautiful palace, partly dating back to the days of Hamlet who once resided here, is sure to make an impression!
We stay at a popular hostel right in the heart of Old Town, close to the Newhavn Market. This hostel used to be an old Manor House and has been tastefully made into a place where you can both relax and enjoy others company. It is within walking distance to all our activities, meaning we can come and go easily between outings, to put our bags down or to have a snack or a rest. The hostel has a bar, relaxation and eating areas so you can bring your own food if you prefer or just relax for a bit between activities (breakfast is included).
We have the exclusive use of two rooms (single sex) at the hostel, sleeping 6 each, making our group a total of 12 people.
Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and the Christmas season there is a fantastic experience, so this will be a memory to treasure for sure!
