SPEAKERS

Michelle Tsing, Futurist, Entrepreneur, Advisor and Attorney

Michelle co-founded a blockchain payments startup in 2015 and is a strategic ICO advisor. She is a mentor for SVI Academy and advises a number of startups in 3D printing, AI and social sharing. She founded Robotics for Good: Chatbots, Messaging and AI community; and donates her time to both The Loving AI Project and Robots Without Borders. She is also producer and host of Laptop Radio and Hashes and Block. She is prior corporate counsel at PayPal including Bill Me Later, Zong and Where app. Michelle’s vision includes higher consciousness in humans and AI planet-wide.


Michael Yuan, Chief Scientist and Co-founder at CyberMiles Foundation

Dr. Michael Yuan is the Chief Scientist and Co-founder at the CyberMiles Foundation. The CyberMiles project aims to build a new blockchain specifically optimized for e-commerce applications. It raised over $30M USD from 14,000 contributors in 119 countries through a successful token sale. Dr. Yuan is also the author of an upcoming book "Building Blockchain Apps" from Addison-Wesley. Prior to CyberMiles, Dr. Yuan had extensive experience in Open Source software development and healthcare research.


Jonathan Nelson, Managing Director HACK Fund, CEO Hackers / Founders

CEO and Co-founder of Hackers/Founders, a global tech founders co-operative. Jonathan helped achieve $600M portfolio market cap in the first 5 years. Member of SEC Advisory Committee for Capital Formation for Small and Emerging Business. Board member of Wilson Center for Public Policy, Latin America. Jonathan’s vision includes moving economies, reducing poverty, and improving life for tech founders around the world.


Jerry Fuqua, Project Director - Americas, Octalysis Group

Dr. Fuqua is the Operations Director for the Octalysis Group, the global leading consultancy on gamification and human-focused design. He is an active member and former executive of VLAB, the non-profit organization that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, and industry experts in monthly forums at Stanford and SRI on cutting edge technologies and opportunities. Jerry has chaired events on virtual currencies, cyber security, gamification, and privacy, among others. He was the Co-founder and CTO of both Surgery.com and World Point Interactive, and a past senior researcher in robotics, telepresence, and AI for the Department of Defense.
